Description | Our client is an ISO 9000 certified and a major indigenous EPC company in the oil and gas industry with international outlook is currently engaged in a major project for the provision of Gas Handling and Compression facilities. The company is desirous of hiring suitably qualified and experienced personnel to lead our engineering unit.
Job Description:
-Responsible for supervising and coordinating all aspect of Front- End Engineering and Detail Engineering Design, preparing Instrument and control design deliverables such as design philosophies and specifications and other relevant materials such as requisitions etc.
-Checks and approves deliverables for issue (IDC, IFR, IFD etc)
Develops PAS, SIS, and FGS architecture, Cause and Effect Matrix, Instruments Index, I/O Lists etc.
-Participate in HAZOP’s and FIREPRAN and other key design reviews
-Coordinates SIL/SIF classification studies and attends FAT’s/SAT’s
-Manages and plans resources to achieve corporate targets
-Reviews third party or sub-contractor deliverables, drawings and documents.
-Attends departmental HSE meetings and participates in technical safety.
-Any other Job that may be assigned from time to time.
-He/she will have direct Supervision of Discipline Engineers, Designers, Draughts men etc.

Skills | Experience:
-At least 8years relevant experience in oil/gas engineering company with at least 3 years in similar position in oil and gas Design Company with both onshore and offshore design project experiences.
-Ability to be concise, clear and direct in both written and verbal communications.
-Demonstrate excellent ability to assimilate and analyze technical reports.
-Must have good organizational skill and sound technical insight to direct various lead and discipline engineers.
-Demonstrate supervisory and leadership skills by achieving good results in challenging circumstances.
-Ability to plan, conduct meetings efficiently and effectively.
