CONTRACT:     36 MONTHS CONTRACT (Renewable)

LOCATION: West Africa

The Global Edge leaders within Oil and Gas and Engineering recruitment currently require 3 Engineering Managers for some of its UAE based clients. The Engineering Manager reports to the Senior Engineering Services Manager and supports all business reporting for Engineering Services, Readiness support, Supply Chain Management process support and any special projects defined by the Engineering Services Manager.

Knowledge

Understands all facets of Business Process development, Business reporting, and support. Understands the physical properties and safe handling practices. Possesses knowledge of governmental regulations and related technical and safety codes, standards and permit related reporting requirements.

RESPONSIBLITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Supports Engineering Services Manager with business-related reporting for Engineering Services.
• Works closely with Engineering Services Engineers, Maintenance Reliability and Process Services in issues related to business reporting.
• Supports with business process optimization and assurance within Engineering Services.
• Provides Business/ Budget/ Forecasting Process Support.
• Aids Lead Engineers in data gathering of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for all equipment for increased efficiency and reduced downtime.
• Works closely with Engineering Services Manager and  Lead Engineers in developing Safety/Reliability/Asset Integrity and Production Optimization initiatives.
• Supports capital projects group with SCM support as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS):

• A minimum of 4-6 years of experience with Project Management process, development, reporting, and Project Coordination is required.
• Must be project management certified, Project Management Professional or Project Management Practitioner (PMP)
• Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills.
• Computer proficient including Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Access, Project and PowerPoint
• An acute sensitivity to safety issues in a hazardous environment.
